OMFG. I love this post, SLART. I'm so excited for your connection with Mark, what a treasure. I canna believe you got on Dyson's website, easier to get forgiveness than permission, what a great choice btw. I actually feel inspired just reading the description of _The Power of Puerility._ What a perfect match you two are. I will have the best week in part because I read you are HOPESICK and I get it and you've inspired me. (Plus, that Cadbury ad! We didn't have that in the US, methinks. What a hoot!) PS: I was also rejected this week and quite proud of it!
Thank you. We have lots of Cadbury's here...yes, I believe their cream eggs have even appeared in my Easter baskets on occasion. I was rejected from a brilliant small business development grant offered by my county. It completely got me out of my comfort zone to apply; I designed a brilliant use of the funds. What is great is a) I'm fine with the rejection and believe I know what it means as a message from the Universe and b) when I let the primary organization I'd invited to partner with me on the grant know that I hadn't received the funds, I asked them to partner with me anyway! oh and c) I asked the grantsmaker to tell me anything they could about why I was rejected so I could learn and improve. And that's what I think we should do with reversals raisingclarity.com/2024/04/reversals-joy-in-sudden-disappointment/ and that's what I did! So I feel good inside. Thank you for asking! PS: I first heard that motto from someone in the US Navy...makes you wonder, eh?
You remember I said that I was procrastinating on getting an EV lease? Then the car I borrowed from a friend, its battery died. I don’t think I was trusting El Universo for the money to come for a safe, reliable car.
Thanks for the share @Eleanor Anstruther it means a lot 🥹

Thanks for reading it Beth! Yes he’s really lit me up! Haha I know, that’s my motto! Exactly! No one will ever know anyway.
Yes. It’s a fun book, lots of imagery and wisdom.
Do you have Cadbury’s cream eggs over there?
I know you like a play on words and knew you’d understand HOPESICK!
Do tell about your rejection, if you wish!

I love that you can tell you weren't trusting!
Yes! I forget!
Oh I’m glad you have cream eggs there!
Well done, I love to hear that you’re going out of your comfort zone too!
Oh really? I’d never heard hopesick before!
Thanks for the link, I feel like I need this reminder 🙏
No, hopesick is surely Mark's term, I meant the motto of forgiveness. vs. permission!
Oh yes! It seems like a military thing come to think of it. Hopesick just came to me after for interview when I was feeling a bit giddy.
