Working on one of my old unfinished pieces has been the highlight of my week. Honestly, by working on this unfinished piece, i am hitting two birds with one stone (i not only love working on this piece, but also have sth exciting to do each day beside our home's usual chores).
That's wonderful. I love that feeling of going back to a piece to work on it. I have some to start work on in the next few weeks I can't wait. I hear you, I've spent the day doing chores today, I'd rather be painting! haha! :-D
Actually, the piece i'm working on is part 2, the first part of which i completed some time ago. There are times when i highly enjoy doing chores, other times i'd rather do anything else than doing chores (i totally get what you say).
